STEVE FELLOWS
Steve is a UEFA B coach that spent a total of seven years at Stourbridge FC working with both Dave and Kieran with their very successful youth teams. He was promoted to ‘Head of Development Centre’ for four years to help create a player pathway to the mens first team. He would later have a brief spell with Dave at Tividale FC during his first season.
SCOTT MASON
Scott is a UEFA B licensed coach that has coached at different levels having spent nine years within the structure at Kidderminster Harriers academy and two years as Under 21 Manager and Head of Youth Development at Halesowen Town FC. He has observed many successful managers and coaches at Harriers and Paul Smith (Halesowen) at work and last season was First Team Manager at Bewdley Town where he would bring through many young lads into mens football. Scott left his role in the summer.
TOM HARPER
Tom has lots of playing experience at lower league/semi pro level having played for Kidderminster Harriers, Bromsgrove Rovers, Bewdley Town, Lye Town, Rushall Olympic and a short period at Gornal Athletic towards the end of his playing career.
He has known Dave for many years being around this level of football and is keen to heap praise on the Gaffer, “Great experience in management with huge expectations for each club he’s involved with but more than anything, a real top bloke who would do anything to help you, in or out of football.
“Really looking forward to the forthcoming season at this club and with Dave at the helm it will be a club that will have a real family feel between both players, staff and supporters.”
ELLIE TAYLOR
Ellie is the sports therapist here at Gornal Athletic. She has always loved the football environment, herself playing from a young age with Kewford Eagles, where she reached open ladies regional level. By this time she was at The University of Worcester. Whilst studying at Worcester University she gained experience of the sporting industry by working alongside a charity at the 2019 London Marthon providing post marathon treatment. She was also a student therapist at Kidderminster Harriers Fc, where she worked with the first team providing treatment before and after training and match days. She was also student therapist with the University men’s 1st football team where she gained experience working hands on with the players in injury clinic. From here she graduated with Honours back in 2020 with a BSc Sports Therapy degree.
Following this she opened her own sports therapy business “Tailored Therapy” which is based here in lower Gornal. Back in 2020 she also become 1st team physiotherapist for Gornal Athletic, unfortunately that season was cut short due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.
She returned the following year to work alongside Phil Rann and his team of coaches where we had two brilliant seasons, nearly clenching that title twice!
“I am now excited to be working alongside Dave, Kieran and our team of Coaches, where hopefully we will make that progress as a team and get to that next level!
“I am looking forward to the new upcoming season! - Hopefully an Injury free one!” - Ellie Taylor BSc, MSST
