After another hard fought point against newly promoted Pelsall Villa Colts at Garden Walk we now face back to back away fixtures beginning with a trip to FC Darlaston on Saturday (3pm kick off).
It’s been a season of mixed fortunes for The Peacocks so far with two wins and three draws from their opening five games. The lads remain unbeaten and are playing some good football so lots to be positive about.
Club captain Luke Carter remains our top scorer with four goals despite missing last weeks game although Nathan Jones’ brace moved him close, putting him on three for the season.
FC Darlaston started the season with a strong showing against Bromyard Town but have since fallen to three straight defeats leaving them with three points on the board from their first four games.
The referee for this one will be Kian Soulsby who will be joined by assistants Joseph Spittle and Gary Taylor. We remind all fans to please respect the match officials and to refrain from abuse of any kind. The club are responsible for our fans and misbehaviour could result in a points deduction.
Venue for this one is The Rec, Hall Street, Darlaston, WS10 8NW. You always travel in good numbers but if you can’t make it to the game, updates will be posted to our X (previously Twitter) and Facebook. Alternatively, you can sign up to the Pitchero app where you can find live game updates as well as other club news and stats.
