Match Preview

After an exciting stoppage time turnaround saw us kick off our 2023/24 campaign with a win on Saturday we travel to newly promoted Pelsall Villa Colts for our second WMRL fixture of the season.

Last seasons WMRL Division 2 champions will be eager to get their season underway after their opening game was called off due to bad weather. We fully expect them to be a competitive side that’ll be a great addition to Division 1.

This is our only away fixture from our opening five games and will take place at Long Lane Park, Long Lane, Essington, WV11 2AA with admission prices set at £5 for adults and £3 concessions for the 3pm kickoff.

The officials are referee Bradley Totney and assistants Victor Kelly and Karl Spence. We remind all fans to please respect the match officials and to refrain from abuse of any kind. The club are responsible for our fans and misbehaviour could result in a points deduction.

Our away following was the envy of the league last season and we hope to see you follow in numbers again but if you can’t make it to the game updates will be posted to our X (previously Twitter)
